On Oct 9th, 2008, “China Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control Seminar” was successfully hosted by First Huida at Dong Hu House in Beijing. More than thirty senior managers in the Risk Management Departments, Internal Control Departments from China Shenhua, ZDT, Sinochem, COSCO, Chalco, Minmetals etc. and Leaders from SASAC of the State Council, Liao Ning State SASAC, Beijing SASAC and ACFIC participated in this seminar to discuss and exchange opinions.

Zhou Fangsheng, the Deputy Director of Enterprises Reform Dept., State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC)， participated in this seminar and gave a brilliant lecture based on present hot topics about how risk Management and internal control running together in SOEs. Dr. Duojia Lu gave a lecture titled “Risk Management and Internal Control”. The lecture of Doc. Lu successfully made everybody in the assembly room join into the discussion as well.

This seminar is one of the “China risk Management practice and discussion seminar” series. It’s the most important place to discuss risk Management at this level. From 2006 to now, this series of seminars has gained wide support from both Chinese government and large SOEs. In order to improve Chinese corporations’ risk Management, this series of seminars gives managers a wonderful platform to discuss and exchange ideas on the last technology and best practice together.
